Are you licensed and insured?
 
Yes. 
 
I carry general liability insurance.
 
Do you give an estimate by phone or do you need to see my house first? 
 
I am an honest person and I have no problem giving an estimate over the phone based on the information you provide.  However, if I come for the first cleaning and there are 4 bathrooms instead of 2 as stated to me over the phone then I reserve the right to change the quote at that time.  I can also make arrangements for an in-home estimate.  You can also click on the "Contact/Cleaning Request" link to the left and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
 
How do you figure the cost to clean my home? 
 
Each home is different.  I offer an affordable flat rate based on the following:
 
-Size of your home (number of bedrooms/bathrooms)
-Type of flooring  (ex: tiled floors, wood flooring, marble)
-Frequency of cleaning (weekly, biweekly, monthly, one time, move-in/out)
-Pets in your household
-Dishes washed/put away
-Number of beds to make - linens changed (one bed included in flat rate)
-Level of clutter (inaccessible cleaning areas)
-Special requests (extra charges may apply) inside of fridge, vacuuming upholstery due to pet hair, window tracks, heavy wall and door washing
-Special supplies or equipment that needs to be used
 
It is important for me to know these things up front so I can give you a flat rate that will remain unchanged during your cleaning service.  I try not to charge for extras that I know will help you - like dishes and linen changes but it helps if I know these things up front so I can figure the time I will spend in your home.
 
Do you bring your own supplies?
 
Yes.  I use a variety of top quality non-toxic cleaners - Seventh Generation, Method and Mrs Meyers to name a few - and I use microfiber cloths and sponges.   If you would like me to use your own supplies please let me know and I will make special arrangements with you if the products are not too harsh.   I also make arrangements with you to use your vacuum or mine.  I prefer to use either a microfiber mop on wood floors and a steam mop on tile.  All bathroom floors are done by hand.
 
What do I need to do before you come?
 
Before I come - please don't clean!  I am there to clean your home so leave that to me;)  I just ask that you pick up toys, clothing, shower / bath toys and anything else you think would be in my way during the cleaning.  I do light organizing but I find that if I spend too much time putting things away then it cuts into my cleaning time. 
 
Do you keep my key or do you make arrangements to come when I am home? 
 
I do not ask to keep your key.   I will either come when you are home or we can make arrangements for you to leave the key in a hidden area so I can enter your home and leave the key for you when I'm done.
 
I understand that some people do not  feel comfortable leaving their home while I'm there so I just ask that we make arrangements for me to be in one area of the home while you are in another so that I can complete the job in a timely manner and I will not be in your way.
 
What about my pets?
 
I am definitely a dog lover but I understand that some dogs do not love me.   I have no problem coming in your home as long as your animal is comfortable with me being there.  Sometimes it just takes some time for us to get used to each other.
 
Please let me know if you have cats - I have a slight allergy to them. 
 
Do you have a cancellation policy?
 
There are no contracts to sign and no cancellation fees however I ask that you cancel within 24 hours or more prior to your cleaning.  I reserve the right to cancel service if there are more than 3 cancellations within a 6 month period.
 
What if I'm not satisfied with your service? 
 
It is my goal to provide exceptional service to my clients however  I realize my service is not "one size fits all".    If you are not satisfied please contact me within 24 hours of your cleaning and I will make arrangements to come back and complete anything you feel was missed.   I want you to be happy and confident that your money has been well spent.  Your  feedback is always appreciated.
