FAQ's
Are you licensed, insured & bonded?
Yes. All of the above.
I carry general liability insurance and a $10,000.00 bond.
Do you give an estimate by phone or do you need to see my house first?
I'm an honest person and I have no problem giving an estimate over the phone as long as the information provided to me about the home and type of service you need is correct at the time of the quote.
Example: If I quote an estimate by phone and the caller tells me "it is a three bedroom home with two bathrooms in good condition" and when I arrive for a cleaning it is a five bedroom home with four bathrooms and in poor condition than I reserve the right to change my quote at that time.
I can also make arrangements to come to your home to meet you first and give you an "in person" quote.
Are there any contracts to sign?
No. At this time I do not require a cleaning contract to be signed.
Is there a cancellation fee?
No I do not charge a cancellation fee. I just ask for cancellations 24 hours in advance if possible and reserve the right to end service or charge an additional fee only if there have been three or more cancellations within a six month period.
How do you figure the cost to clean my home?
Each home is different. I offer an affordable flat rate based on the following:
-Size of your home (number of bedrooms/bathrooms)
-Type of flooring (ex: tiled floors, wood flooring, marble)
-Frequency of cleaning (weekly, biweekly, monthly, one time, move-in/out)
-Pets in your household
-Level of clutter (inaccessible cleaning areas)
-Special requests (extra charges may apply) such as cleaning baseboards, inside of fridge, vacuuming upholstery due to pet hair, window tracks, heavy wall and door washing, etc.
-Special supplies that need to be used
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes. I use a variety of non-toxic cleaners and some commercial cleaners if needed. I use microfiber cloths & sponges. If you would like me to use your own supplies please let me know and I will make special arrangements with you if the products are not too harsh. Also I ask to use your vacuum and mop for sanitary purposes unless otherwise requested.
Do you keep my key or do you make arrangements to come when I am home?
I do not ask to keep your key. I will either come when you are home or we can make arrangements for you to leave the key in a hidden area so I can enter your home and leave the key for you when I'm done. I understand some people do not feel comfortable leaving their home while I'm there so I just ask that we make arrangements for me to be in one area of the home while you are in another so that I can complete the job in a timely manner and I will not be in your way.
What about pets?
I am definitely a dog lover but I understand that some dogs do not love me. I have no problem coming in the home as long as your animal is comfortable with me being there. Sometimes it just takes some time for us to get used to each other.
I am sorry but I'm allergic to cats and really cannot clean homes where there are indoor cats.
Do you do office cleaning & move-in/outs?
I can clean small offices in the evening and the charge is based on the number of cleanings needed in a month, location and size.
I also work with move-in/out's and foreclosed properties without trash removal. The charge for cleaning vacant and foreclosed properties is based on the size of the home, the condition and special requirements. I will need to do a walk through of the property prior to quoting my charge.
